    Hi Kakitsubata0711,

This may be a cabling and port issue. Your MacBook Pro does not have any USB 3 Type-A ports. The L515 is validated only with the USB4 Type-C to A cable that is packaged with the camera.

To confirm this, can you test the camera on another computer that has USB 3 Type A ports and connect the camera using the cable that came with it?

The Thunderbolt ports may be powerful enough to drive the camera but the cable the customer is using may not support the bandwidth requirements.

    Sincerely,

    Sahira

    Hello Sahira,

    Thank you for your comment.

I have tried the packaged cable with the camera.

MacBook has only Type-C ports, so I used the Type-C to A cable with a conversion connector.

Incidentally, this error does not occurs in Windows PC(XPS13 7390).

This PC also has only Type-C ports, so I used the cable, the conversion connector and the camera.

So I think that the error factor is not the hardware.

    Best Regards,

    Masashi Takahashi

    Hi Kakitsubata0711,

Because the RealSense camera works on your other system with no issues, we can rule out the RealSense camera being the problem. This issue is probably due to the ports on your Macbook - perhaps it is not supplying enough power to the RS camera to function properly and at the highest specs. But the camera is not defective.

    Sincerely,

    Sahira
