Optimal Depth Resolution for D405
On this page the optimal depth resolution for the D415 and D435 cameras are listed, but not the D405. What's the optimal depth resolution for the D405 camera?

Hi Toni Divic The RealSense Viewer software tool is useful for determining the optimal resolution for a particular model by looking at the default resolution that is set for a particular camera model when the Viewer is launched. For D405 it is 848x480.

My understanding is that the active pixels of the camera are 1280x720 but when depth is generated the image is rectified, downsizing the image in the process. If 1280x720 resolution is selected instead of 848x480 then the extra pixels are extrapolated. This can result in similar or slightly worse depth quality than 848x480.
The D405, D435 / D435i / D435f / D435if and D455 cameras have an optimal depth accuracy resolution of 848x480, whilst the optimal for the D415 model is 1280x720.
