Depth of an entire room
Hi,
I am trying to estimate the depth of an entire room. I have very "wobbly" walls and floor.
The included post-processing helps a little but I was wondering if you had any tips or set of parameters to make the best of the sensor in that situation. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lucas Marti If your depth image is fluctuating then please first try lowering the Temporal Filter's Filter Smooth Alpha value from 0.4 to 0.1 to reduce fluctuation.
I also note that the Post-Processing option at the top of the post-processing filter list is disabled (red), which disables all filters in the list. The filters wll therefore not be applied until the red icon beside Post-Processing is enabled (blue).
The scene has a lot of black colored materials in it. Depth cameras have difficulty reading dark grey or black surfaces because these color shades absorb light. Projecting a strong light source onto such surfaces can help to bring out depth detail.
