d555 built on d455? --> Can't get the same Framerate/Resolution as the d455
I've got a d455 and a d555
I would like to operate the PoE at 90FPS 848x840
Like I do with the d555
That appears to be impossible??
The closest I get--through awkward manipulation of the Realsense Viewer is:
896x504 at 60FPS
Why are the resolution options different?
And why can't I get more FPS at the higher resolution?

Hi Steve Steve Page 3 of the version 1.1 data sheet document for the D555 camera describes that on a PoE connection the maximum FPS it supports is 60, and the streams support 896x504 instead of 848x480.

I do not currently have information regarding why 896x504 resolution is used instead of 848x480 on D555 PoE.
Ethernet cables support a slower data transfer rate than USB 3 cables. Ethernet cables have a maximum data transfer speed of 1 Gbps (gigabits per second), compared to 5 Gpbs on a USB 3 cable.
