License for commercial use of depth modules
Hello,
we want to use the D430 camera modules in a commercial product. Is there any license that we should consider, or can we use them as we like after their purchase (besides exporting to certain countries)?
Is there currently guaranteed availability of these modules? When it becomes a part of our product, we need to be sure that it will not be withdrawn from the market in the near future.
Thank you for your answers.

Hi Ladislav Ondris 1 You would not require a license to integrate a RealSense Depth Module Kit board into a commercial product. The RealSense SDK software is open-source and can be used and modified according to your needs.
Some countries may require that a commercial product that integrates RealSense technology meets a particular safety certification for the RealSense component of that product. You can view international certifications for the RealSense product range at the link below.

There are no announced plans to withdraw the 400 Series stereo depth camera product range. If a particular model is withdrawn then Intel issues an End of Life (EOL) notice months in advance with advice about alternative available RealSense products to switch to.
Even when a particular model reaches EOL status, it can typically be found in stock at one of the Intel Authorized Distributor companies that carry RealSense products. Intel Authorized Distributors can be searched for by country at the link below.
