Software to implement interactivity with RealSense
Greetings! I'm trying to figure out how to use intel realsense to activate 5 points on a wall projection with the movement of a hand. With which software can I interface the sensor to obtain interactivity? (at the touch a multimedia should play)
Thanks!

Hi Thekasperguys Do you have a RealSense camera yet or are you planning to purchase one, please? This information will help us to recommend an appropriate software solution for your intended application. Thanks!

Yes, I was reminded by your description of LUMOplay and an interactive wall demonstration that they did in 2020 with a RealSense L515 and a projector in the link below.

As the L515 camera model will be End of Life (retired) imminently though, a RealSense 400 Series camera would be a better choice if you are building a system for a customer. LUMOplay does declare support for the D415 and D435 camera models too.

Information about LUMOplay's software, which includes tutorials for interactive wall projections, is here:

The official RealSense blog has published past articles about RealSense powered motion-driven interactive exhibits.

If you are seeking to create your own interactive application, using a control system based on hand gesture recognition such as hand waves, pushes and taps and powered by the Unity game creation engine may be the easiest way to achieve this. The Nuitrack SDK skeleton tracking tool has Unity integration and gesture recognition, and the link below has a Nuitrack tutorial for controlling a gallery with multi-touch gestures.
