RealSense L515: 1. Will it be discontinued?; 2. We want to develop a battery-driven version of it with BLE conection --> need serial connection

ad1. Will L515 be discontinued? If yes, which realsense product can we use in order to integrate it into a battery-driven wireless product?
ad2. Serial interface possible/available? In order to integrate a BLE transmission interface (transmit LiDAR scan to backend), we need a serial interface for the scan data. Any suggestions, pls?

Hi Stefan,
The L515 is being discontinued and you can replace it with the D455 or the D435i, which have integrated IMUs.
There is no serial connection directly to the camera available. The camera must be connected to a USB 3 port on the host using the Intel-provided USB cable.Sincerely,
