Intel real sense SDK and L515

Hi, 

I'm new to intel real sense and I've several questions.
Currently I'm using L515 with a license to software DWS. Also received the DWS sdk.

 

1. Can I use this sdk (https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/releases) to develop the programming without buying another license?
2. Is it L515 suitable for surface inspection?
3. Is the sdk at point 1 suitable for inspection applications?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    A new license will be required to continue using DWS after the current license expires.

    1. SDK2.0 doesn't require any license. It's easy to build the future with the open-source Intel® RealSense™ SDK 2.0 and other tools available provided in one package. Supporting various platforms and programming languages.
    2. LiDAR L515 cameras will fit your needs.
    3. Yes it is suitable for your application. You may refer to the User Guide for better performance.
