Hi IACTICONTROL CTIcontrol  The RealSense GMSL driver can be found here:

    https://github.com/IntelRealSense/realsense_mipi_platform_driver

It can be used with Jetson Orin without having to modify it, so you may find that it will work with your Orin Nano too.

The Maxim MAX9296 deserializer component inside the Leopard LI-GMSL2-IPX-DESER is compatible with the MAX9295A serializer built inside the D457.

Therefore, Can I use exactly the same driver without changing nothing from https://github.com/IntelRealSense/realsense_mipi_platform_driver despite using LI-GMSL2-IPX-DESER and LI-FPC22-IPEX-ONX for my Jetson Orin Nano developer kit?

The RealSense MIPI driver should work with LI-GMSL2-IPX-DESER without having to modify the driver.  This is the only commercially available deserializer module confirmed by the RealSense team to be D457 compatible, and other RealSense users have successfully used it.

There is no recommended guidance available regarding connecting the deserializer module to the Jetson.

The driver can be used with computing devices other than Jetson Xavier / Orin and with other deserializer modules (as long as they have a Maxim deserializer component), but the customer needs to modify the driver themselves to make it compatible with that hardware.

Once in a post, I ask for the driver for Jetson Orin Nano (https://support.realsenseai.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/41865349916819-Realsense-D457-to-Jetson-Orin-Nano-with-Jetpack-6-2). In that post, you forgot to mention that is not available with 'Jetson Orin Nano DevKit', only with AXG Orin and AGX Xavier. My mistake was that I didn't see that Jetson Orin Nano is not registered in repository https://github.com/IntelRealSense/realsense_mipi_platform_driver.

Despite trying to follow the repository guide, I cannot archieve to build the driver (I want to detect D457 via GMSL with python). Therefore, Is there any driver suitable for Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit? If not, At least can I get the possible changes to do in order to configurate it for Jetson Orin Nano?

    I appreciate your support.

The MIPI platform driver works without modification on Jetson AGX Xavier and Orin.  There is not information available though about how it performs on other Jetson models or steps require (if any) for its use on non-AGX Xavier / Orin board models.

Support is unfortunately not available from the RealSense team for converting the driver for other equipment: the conversion process, or 'porting', has to be carried out by the customer and their development team staff if they have any.

Advice about using the driver can be sought at the dedicated support forum for the MIPI driver.

    https://github.com/IntelRealSense/realsense_mipi_platform_driver/issues

There, a question about use of the driver with Orin Nano has been asked by another user.
