D456 Invalid SKU after Firmware update
Hello,
we purchased a D456 camera and flashed a new software over windows sdk on it. Afterwards it is not reachable anymore. Propaply the firmware was not legal to the hardware. After connecting to Ubuntu it says:
usb 4-1: Product: Intel(R) RealSense(TM) Invalid SKU
usb 4-1: Manufacturer: Intel(R) RealSense(TM) Invalid SKU
The USB Cable is the original one and it is working with a d435 without a problem.
I see other posts like it suggesting opening the camera, but this will destroy the warranty. Is there any other solution out of sending it back?

Hi Tobias Bolze The minimum firmware supported by the D456 camera model is 5.15.0.2. If an older firmware than the minimum supported version is installed then it can result in the Invalid SKU error.
The only alternative to voiding the warranty through disassembly is to contact the retailer that it was purchased from to enquire about an RMA return, as it is not a problem that can be fixed by users with software, unfortunately.
