Hi IACTICONTROL CTIcontrol  To use the D457 in GMSL / FAKRA mode with Jetson Orin will require the purchase of a deserializer module and the installation of the RealSense MIPI driver.

The MIPI driver can be found here:

    https://github.com/IntelRealSense/realsense_mipi_platform_driver

A deserializer product that is compatible with D457 is provided by the company Leopard Imaging

    https://leopardimaging.com/product/accessories/adapters-carrier-boards/li-gmsl2-ipx-deser/

Other brands of deserializer module should also work though as long as they contain MAX9296A deserializer technology like the Leopard Imaging LI-GMSL2-IPX-DESER product does.

The company Connect Tech offer a D457-compatible system based on AGX Orin that does not require the purchase of a deserializer as the technology is built into the system.

And what about the Jetpack version? It is relevant?  In addition, I need to know about the FPC cable if it must be purchased and where.

The RealSense MIPI driver's documentation recommends JetPack 6.0.  Some RealSense users with Jetsons are now using JetPack 6.2, though usually with a USB connection rather than GMSL.  I'm not aware of a case where 6.2 has been tested with the D457 in GMSL mode.

I do not have information about a need to use an FPC cable.  Are you enquiring about how to connect the deserializer module to the Jetson, please?  If you are then I would recommend asking Leopard Imaging's support channel if you choose their deserializer, as I do not have that information.
