How small of an object can the l 515 see

  The L515 Lidar Camera can provide millimeter accuracy but the depth error average at 1m distance from the camera is <5mm at 95% of the reflectivity. Check out the datasheet of LiDAR L515 on page 10 for depth quality specification. 

   

  A high-resolution depth map gives the user the chance to detect small objects at longer distances. Minimum detectable object size (MOS) directly depends on the number of depth pixels, as well as the fidelity of the depth camera in seeing the edges. L515 is capable of detecting objects as small as 9mm diameter x 11mm height from 1m away. You can refer to L515 User Guide, page 24 for more information.
