Looking through glass with Intel REALSENSE LIDAR CAMERA L515

Dear Sir or Madam,
I have purchased the LIDAR CAMERA L515 from Intel.
In itself, the sensor also works, however, we want to "look" with the sensor through a sapphire viewing glass, which is about 10mm away from the lens. Unfortunately, this does not work.
Is there any setting or other alternative that this is still possible?

    Hi Stork,
    Thanks for reaching out to us.
    We don't recommend adding any optical element in front of the camera as this will cause performance degradation.
