D455 auxiliary connector - mechanical issue?

Hi All,

I am working on a multi-camera setup with Realsense D455.

I wanted to HW-synch the devices by using their 9 pin auxiliary connector.

I think that I have ordered the appropriate connector body, but I highlight that on this camera (for sure  on all 16 D455 I have on hands) the connector receptacle on the camera side is too close to the edge of the chassis opening: as result, the connector cannot be plugged in.

For plugging the JST connector SHR-09V-S-B I needed to slightly cut/erode it on a side.

I cannot attach pictures here, but can send them on request.

Has anyone experienced the same?

Am I doing something wrong?
