L515 or photogrammetry?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a solution to scan products like smartphones or cameras for my tech blog and what I'd like to achieve is something like this:

I think they have used photogrammetry but I'd like to understand if the Intel L515 would be a good alternative to achieve the same kind of result?

I don't think so. I've used the L515 for a couple weeks now and you can't get that result... actually not even with photogrammetry. What you're showing in the link is a 3D model which is why it looks so 'perfect'.
Also after posting a few questions here with no response, I have not yet found a way to do a 'turntable' scan of an object with the L515.

Thanks! 3D models would make sense, I had doubts because some of the products they have are very complex to reproduce in 3D.
I haven't found many demos of the L515 where you can actually see the level of details this device can capture but from your feedback, I guess I should go back to my photogrammetry test :)
