realsense viewer blind

hello,

i'm running window 10 en parallel desktop, on mac - may it can be the reason why the 3D camera won't show up on the left screen of the viewer?

20:22:12 [Info] C:\jenkins_sys_rsbuild\workspace\LRS_windows_compile_pipeline\src\context.cpp:365 - Found 0 RealSense devices (mask 255)

maybe one of you can help me to solve this issue?

What do you mean the 3D camera won't show up on the left screen of the viewer?

Would you mind sharing a few screenshots?

A more detailed description of what you have attempted would also be helpful.

Hi Lightsonic,

Based on the librealsense troubleshooting wiki :

Due to the USB 3.0 translation layer between native hardware and virtual machine, the librealsense team does not support installation in a VM. If you do choose to try it, we recommend using VMware Workstation Player, and not Oracle VirtualBox for proper emulation of the USB3 controller.

Yes, it looks like using the virtual machine is what caused the error.
