Windows 10 UBS3 connected L515 not working
To whom it may concern:
When I run the RealSenseViewer V2.42, I get this message:
context.cpp:381 - Found 1 RealSense devices (mask 255)
but the camera does not appear on the left panel of the application where it still asks for "Connect a RealSense Camera or Add Source".
... and in the device manager it does not appear in the imaging devices, it goes in "unknown device".
I have therefore attempted to update the firmware, which I thought might be the issue, but after downloading the zip file with the bin file in it, the support website is not that helpful, it states to use the RealSense Viewer apps.
When I look for the sofware update tools, it also states on the website:
Attention Lidar Camera L515 owners
Please use the device firmware update tool that comes with the librealsense SDK starting version 2.35.2.
... but the link point to the 2.4 version, and I can't seem to find the 2.35.2 version.
I was wondering if you could provide me help, knowing that I am not a tech-person (i.e. step by step).
Thank you.

Hello Kaikikazanbear,
Thank you for contacting us.
We have recommendations for you to try. First, try flipping over the USB-C connector into the camera to insert it in the opposite polarity. Second, try the L515 camera on a different computer and see if these methods working or not.
If you are not a tech person then you may have trouble using the Intel RealSense SDK 2.0 to build an application for the RealSense L515. RealSense cameras are targeted at developers to build solutions using the provided SDK. Which application do you plan on using with the L515?
