What is the difference between Image Sensor Technology and RGB Sensor Technology?
During comparison between different RealSense models, the image sensor technology is different than the RGB sensor technology.
For example the only difference between the D435i model and the new D455 is that the RGB is global shutter instead of rolling for the RGB, while both have the image sensor technology as Global.

Hi Roni Dem There are additional differences between the D435i and D455 that improve depth to color alignment. The D455 color and depth imagers have the same FOV size (the D435 models have a larger depth FOV than color). The color and depth imagers are mounted on the same stiffener inside the camera, resulting in improved alignment between color and depth.
Also, the D455 has 2x the accuracy over distance of the D435 models, so the D455 has the same accuracy at 6 meters that the D435 models have at 3 meters.
