Odometry of the T265 starts moving although it stands still
| Firmware Version: | 0.2.0.951 |

| Kernel Version (Linux Only): | 5.4.0-42-generic |
| Platform: | PC (Virtual machine) |
| SDK Version: | 2.2.6 |
I am using the Realsense T265 as odometry input for a robot.
I encountered this issue by accident. As soon as I drive to a wall and stop there (facing the wall) the camera odometry starts moving even though the robot doesnt move a centimeter. This is a very normal scenario and shouldnt be an issue for the camera.
I tested it on the Ros side as well as the realsense-viewer. The IMU inside the camera should recognize that the camera isnt moving at all.
Further Information:
- It is a room with normal lighting (LED) and not much sunlight.
- The wall is not flat its pretty rough
I also created a bagfile with the realsense viewer that can be downloaded here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FVcwJP5qMXNRYRF4G0uHcaUXA9UKGfHF?usp=sharing
I hope someone can give me an answer what is going wrong here and how we could resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance!
