If you are asking about how the D415 performs when experiencing vibration, the stereo depth algorithm of the 400 Series cameras is very robust against vibration.  There can be disruptions such as disconnections if the vibration becomes severe though.  Physical shock from severe vibration may also require the camera to be recalibrated.

Examples of this would be if the camera is used in an agricultural environment where it is travelling over rough ground, or on a flying drone where vibration is being transmitted through the drone's frame during flight.  It is therefore important to shield the camera from vibration as much as possible with methods such as vibration damping pads at the camera's mounting point.

You could also use USB cables with screw-locks on the end of the connector to secure the cable in the USB port of the camera and the computing device if you expect the cable to be moving around or be at risk of being pulled out.

In regard to an official Intel product report on vibration, it can be assumed that if the information is not in the data sheet document for the camera then it is information that would only be available to customers who have a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Intel.

    Hi Marty,

We have signed NDA with Intel, may we have official Intel product report on vibration? How do we apply the report?

Our target parts is D455 for AGV application.

    Thanks a lot!

Hi John Yang  Intel RealSense NDA customers are able to access a private online customer support channel called Zendesk and post questions.  If you do not have a Zendesk account, I can put you in contact with someone at Intel who can help you to arrange it.
