Use of SR305 in special light conditions
Hi! I'm trying to find out the best solution between stereo and coded light cameras for my working conditions.
The environment is indoor and the range is quiet short, but the light conditions expected are bright, because of the daylight required and the presence of a projector pointing at the shot object itself.
Is the SR305 camera suitable in this kind of situation? I only found generic comments or related to the use in dark conditions: "As with other structured and coded light depth cameras, it functions best indoors or in a controlled lighting situation. It can also function well at lower light levels down to 0 Lux, since infrared light is being projected onto the scene from the camera."
Thanks in advance.

For bright-light conditions, a 400 Series model (D415 or D435 / D435i) may be the better choice. Unlike most depth cameras, these stereo cameras actually work better in strong light.
If you are referring to a pattern projector that overlays a pattern of dots onto the scene: in strong light, a pattern projector is not needed because the 400 Series cameras can use the ambient light of the scene for reading depth detail instead. Its auto-exposure can also adjust to variable lighting conditions such as daylight and darkness in real-time.
