Cables/Adapters for SR305
With our D415, based on several recommendations we got the newnex U3S1A01C12-030(3M USB 3.1 A male to C male Dual Screw Locking). We're going to attempt to replace our D415 with a SR305 and of course found out that it's using micro B rather than C like the D415.
The D415 was highly sensitive and not any old extension cable would work(we tried cheap then ended up getting the $40 cable). Is the SR305 as sensitive? We require 3M for the travel distance in our machine.
Honestly, I'd like a C female to micro B male(preferred locking) adapter so I can just use the existing high quality cable. Baring that, a A male to micro B male 3M cable that meets the specs for this camera(https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Qualtek/3023029-03M?qs=3%2FFJf73UaTb%2Ff5IEmx3gjQ%3D%3D#.XYJN_J6QNlI is what I'm looking at). Note, Newnex has usb c male to micro b male but curiously missing A.
I've got 4 USB A extension cables and 3 USB hubs with longish cables sitting around, none of them work with the existing A to micro B cable so I thought I'd ask about requirements/suggestions before ordering-waiting-disappointed.

Historically, RealSense cameras have always been sensitive to the state of the USB port / cabling, no matter the model. This is because of the high volume of data that they typically transmit through the cable, which reduces the distance that the data can be sent along before it degrades unless a high-quality cable is used.
Newnex does have an A male to Micro B male cable with screw lock for SR305 and T265 that is mentioned in their RealSense promo page on their site.

The cable referenced for SR305 and T265 is accessible here:

If you scroll down the page then cables with lengths up to 5m are available.
