Regarding D415 Calibration in Vertical Direction
Hi,
I wanted to scan the D415 placed vertically to utilise the lesser Horizontal FOV from LIPScan, that is, I wanted to turn the camera vertically and then calibrate it for accurate measurement.
How do I do that because I usually do it horizontally using the DepthSense Viewer?
Thanks!

The D415 has been used successfully to measure depth when pointed downwards towards the floor. So I would imagine that if the camera is calibrated in the normal front-facing orientation then it should not make a difference if you then point the camera upwards during use.
An exception to this is calibrating an IMU component in a RealSense camera such as the D435i, which apparently must be calibrated in the forward-facing horizontal direction. That does not apply here though, since the D415 does not have an IMU.
