Per-frame metadata is not enabled at the OS level! & only one camera detected.

ENV:

• NVIDIA Jetson Agx Orin + customer max9296 adapter board
• Jetpack 5.1.2
• realsense_mipi_platform_driver v1.0.1.21
• librealsense v2.55.1
• connected D457 camera to both port A and port B of the MAX9296
• D457 firmware is 5.16.0.1

PROBLEM:

• When lightup D457 camera with realsense-viewer, it said "Per-frame metadata is not enabled at the OS level!"
• only the D457 on portA of max9296 is detected when using realsense-viewer
• both max9295 on portA and portB are available and register can be read using i2ctransfer

QUESTION:

• How to enable the metadata?
• What datatype of the metadata?
• Does the metadata output related to the L4T camera driver or the firmware of D457?
• Does this problem is due to realsense_mipi_platform_driver or librealsense or device tree?
• Does the v1.0.1.23 of realsense_mipi_platform_driver support two D457 on max9296 too ?
• Official driver support 2depth+2color and 2ir+2color. but if I want to use 2depth+2ir, can it be achieved by only modifying the VC virtual channel values in the device tree?
