Hello,
The CMOS sensor of Realsense D455 is indicated as End Of Life on the OmniVision website.
What will be the impact on the camera's using this sensor ? What's the remaining lifespan of the D455 series or is there already a replacement sensor ?
Thank you

Hi G Krier Physical changes to RealSense products are published as notices months in advance of the change on Intel's Product Change Notification (PCN) website at the link below. There are currently no notifications regarding the D455's Omnivision sensor. I recommend following this site to check for future updates.

A change in the status of a component does not necessarily affect a particular camera product significantly. For example, in mid 2022 the RealSense camera models equipped with an IMU changed their IMU component from BMI055 to the similar BMI085. The only consequence of this was that the minimum supported speed for the accelerometer changed from 63 to 100.
