Ideal range of camera
Hi, I want to ask about terminology 'Ideal range'
Is this 'Ideal range' stands for the both range of 'RGB' and 'depth'?
Or, it's just for the depth performance?
If ideal range of D405 camera is 0.07m to 0.5m, then I would better to use this model for RGB image in 0.07m~0.5m? or I can use it in the distance further than 0.5m?

Hi Sohwa427 Ideal range applies only to the depth sensing. It is the range in which you will get the optimal depth accuracy. The RGB and infrared streams can see much further as they do not have the distance limitations of the depth stream.
Yes, D405 can depth-sense further than 0.5 m. As distance from the camera increases, depth error increases. The image below is of a window approximately 2 m from a D405.
