RS2_OPTION_ALTERNATE_IR
Does the RS2 option RS2_OPTION_ALTERNATE_IR function on the D435 camera? Are the legal values just 0 and non-zero?
If RS2_OPTION_ALTERNATE_IR functions on the D435, is it possible to get both the amplitude of the depth correlation in 1 stream and the other "real" IR image in a separate stream? Can this be accomplished with a separate "open" of the sensor targeting the other IR imager?
We are interested in depth data. We are also interested in using the normal IR stream to determine scene washout when facing the sun. But the amplitude of the depth correlation is useful also.

Hi Andy Nicholas The option RS2_OPTION_ALTERNATE_IR is an option of the RealSense L515 lidar depth camera, which is a different camera technology to the Stereo Depth technology of the 400 Series models.
In regard to pointing a 400 Series camera in line of sight of the sun, doing so should ideally be avoided. If you need to do so though, you could try setting up an auto-exposure Region of Interest (ROI), as described in Intel's camera tuning advice about using a 400 Series camera in sunlight.

どちらも RealSense D415で、Firmwareのバージョンも同一です。

This option allows the SR300 camera to switch between two different infrared (IR-Flappy Bird) sensors, which can be useful in certain lighting conditions or for specific applications. When this option is set to a non-zero value, the SR300 camera will use an alternate IR sensor instead of the default IR sensor.
In contrast, the D435 camera does not have the ability to switch between different IR sensors. However, it does have several other options that can be used to adjust the IR emitter power, enable/disable the IR projector, and adjust the depth sensor sensitivity, among other things.
