D450 modules are being recognized as D430i
History:
We bought the D450 modules pack, however, the flat cables to connect the image sensors board to the depth processor board did not came together, and neither did the USB-C cables (But that one is understandable). I do realize that those cables were not listed as a item in the store, but it seemed right to come together with the bundle.
To at least test if the modules were working, i disassembled a D435 camera and took the cable which connects the image sensor board to the depth processor board.
Following the datasheet, I connect a pair of D450 boards (1 image sensor board with 1 depth processor board), and tested it with the latest Realsense viewer (v2.45.0). It worked, however, realsense viewer detects the D450 camera as a D430i camera, and the functionalities are also limited to those of a D430i. For instance, rgb images can't be obtained.
Questions:
-Where can i buy more of those cables?
-Will they ever be shipped together with the D450 modules pack?
-The incorrect detection of a D450 as a D430i is a software problem or could the cable be the problem?
-Although it wrongly detected the camera as a 430i, should i try updating the firmware to fix it?

Hi Vinicius Ramalho I enquired to Intel about interposer cabling for the D450 module and was advised that they have a different design to the interposer cable used with D435. You should therefore create your own interposer cable for the D450 to connect it to the Vision Processor D4 board.
Page 52 of the current edition of the data sheet document for the 400 Series cameras provides a contact for ordering of custom interposer cables (shown below).

Thanks very much Vinicius Ramalho for the update - it is great to hear that you were able to obtain the correct interposer cabling!
