realsense D455 unknow element

  Hello, I checked images of the D450 Depth Module inside the D455 in the data sheet and on the RealSense Store.  The store image of the D450 module shows that it is an empty hole and the matching recess on the mechanical drawing is also unlabelled.

  So what is this window design for? Is there any connector prepared for ultra element?

  I do not have any official information about this design aspect to provide. 

  Generally speaking, it is a common practice in the manufacturing of product ranges with multiple variations to leave an empty gap where a particular model does not contain a component. 

  In regard to RealSense specifically, I can provide no commentary about undocumented aspects of RealSense product design.
