Problem with L515

Hi,
I recently bought a Realsense L515 device, and updated it to the latest firmware (1.5.4.1). I tested it on two different PCs, both with USB 3.1 ports, but it fails to give the maximum performance. I used the Realsense Viewer software (v2.42).
In a PC with a Linux OS, it is always detected as USB 2.1 (i tried different cables, including the original one, and all the 3.1 ports).
In a PC with Windows, sometimes it is detected as USB 3.1, but if I set the maximum resolution (for depth and RGB), after 5-6 seconds Realsense Viewer stops showing frames, and starts consuming high CPU and RAM.

I already opened a store inquiry; in the meantime, is there something else I can do?
