L515 detected as USB2 instead of USB3, while D400 series work well!!

Dear Sir or Madam in Intel,


recently I bought a new L515, but it always detected as USB2, in both windows (win10) and linux (ubuntu 16.04 and ubuntu 18.04). However, D400 series have no problem detected as USB3. So, we strongly suspect it might be the problem/defect of the camera itself. The S/N is F0264919.

    Hello Francis Wang,

    If your L515 camera is detected as USB 2.1 when it is connected to the USB 3 ports of multiple computers then it is faulty and should be returned.

    • If you purchased it from the Intel RealSense Store, please sign in to your account on http://www.intelrealsense.com and go to My Account -> My Orders -> Return or Replace Items or open a ticket here.
    • If you did not purchase your Intel RealSense Camera from the Intel Store, contact your distributor for a return.
