LIDAR 515 "industrial" version for high temp environments
Hi everyone,
According to the camera hardware specifications, the ambient temperature when the device is streaming should be in the range 0 - 30°. I was wondering, what could be a solution to extend this range (in particular, the maximum temp) ? In short, how would I make this camera more suitable for industrial settings ? (a "hand-made" solution should be a last resort)

Hello Davide,
The L515 must be kept within those operating parameters in order to maintain depth performance. We do not have a recommended solution to extend the temperature range. If the ambient temperature goes beyond 30° then you should build a housing for the camera that cools it down to a more appropriate temperature. The housing should not block the air vents around the perimeter of the camera and should not place any material, i.e. glass, plastic, etc, in front of the sensors.
Sincerely,
Jesus G.
