D455 Error Logs Not Appearing
Dear RealSense community,
I have 4 D455 cameras attached to a dedicated USB3.0 PCIe expansion card installed on my workstation. While this PCIe expansion card resolved previous issues with camera connections, during initialization of the cameras Windows emits the USB disconnect/reconnect sound. One camera successfully opens on the realsense viewer but the other three continuously appear and disappear. The behavior persists until devices are unplugged/replugged or the system is restarted.
A review of the windows event viewer shows multiple historical USB-related errors including "Set Address Failed," Device Descriptor Request Failed," and "USB device enumeration failures. I've enabled RealSense logs as shown in the image below to further investigate the issue, but I do not see the logs saved anywhere on my PC.
Where should I be looking for these logs? Are there any known causes of "set address failed" and "device descriptor request failed" events in RealSense deployments? Are there commands we can run in our python environment to check if a camera is working or restart a camera if it was not working?

Hi Marian Fonseca Logs are unlikely to be useful for this particular issue, unfortunately.
My past experience of this repeated disconnect-reconnect on Windows is that it may be related to a particular computer rather than the cameras, as it may occur on one PC but not another.
If you only have one camera at a time attached, and try each of the four cameras on their own individually, do you always get a successful and stable connection? If you do then it could indicate that the computer is not providing sufficient power for the other cameras when multiple cams are attached and activated (the amount of power they draw from the computer increases when they are enabled).
A way to test for the possibility of insufficient power is to use a mains electricity powered USB hub, which has more stable power than a hub powered by the computer as it draws the power for its USB ports from the mains plug socket instead of the computer's power supply.
