Depth module heat
Good morning:
If I bought a realsense D450 module + Vision Processor Board D4 V3 to record/work for days. I am worried about the temperature of both D450 and D4 V3 board during intensive and long use of it, Should I create/buy a heatsink for both? If so, Where can I buy a heatsink?
In my case, FAN is not necessary.

Hi IACTICONTROL CTIcontrol It is not usually necessary to purchase a heatsink for the depth module and D4 V4 board. If the modules are in the open air then there is nothing to block the heat from naturally radiating away from the module. A heatsink can be a useful addition in situations where the device may produce excessive heat though.
In the cased RealSense cameras, a heatsink is sandwiched in-between the depth module in front of it and the Vision Processor D4 board behind it.
RealSense heatsinks are not sold individually but you can select your own. The image below is an extract of the heatsink guidance from the RealSense datasheet document.
