Unable to pair to F455 in Secure Mode
I just unboxed a new device and am having trouble establishing a secure connection.
I have built from sourcode using the latest version from github Release Version 1.3.1 · realsenseai/RealSenseID · GitHub and come under the following problem:
1. When I build without the secure flag RSID_SECURE I cannot pair the device as the command is not available (either in cli / rsid-viewer / through the c api)
2. When I build with the secure flag enabled I see the options in all three methods above but I cannot pair to the device saying that:
[2025-12-17 19:27:33.520] [info] [FaceAuthenticator] Pairing start
[2025-12-17 19:27:38.531] [error] [PacketSender] Failed to recv sync bytes before timeout
[2025-12-17 19:27:38.532] [error] [FaceAuthenticator] Failed to recv device ecdsa public key
When using the rsid-viewer it tries to pair with it on startup but fails.
I am on firmware version 8.2.0.300 and have tried re-applying the firmware with the force update flag but to no avail.
Has anyone managed to use the secure mode and could point me in the right direction?
