RealSense D435i stopped working after a sudden PC power shutdown
Hello,
I am using an Intel RealSense D435i connected to my laptop via USB. Yesterday, my computer suddenly powered off while both the D435i and an Arduino board were connected to the USB ports.
After the shutdown, the D435i completely stopped working.
I have tried:
-
multiple USB cables
-
different USB ports (USB 3.0 and USB 2.0)
-
restarting the system
-
connecting to another computer
Other USB devices and another RealSense camera work normally, but this D435i no longer appears in Device Manager / RealSense Viewer, and the LED does not turn on. It seems like the USB interface of the camera might be damaged.
I would like to ask:
-
Is this type of failure covered under Intel’s warranty?
-
What is the typical repair or replacement cost if the camera is out of warranty?
-
Is there any firmware recovery method if the camera is not detected at all?
-
What is the recommended next step for diagnosis?
Thank you very much for your help.
