Hi,

I am working on a robot vision project using the D435i. I would like to know if the D435 comes with an accompanying app, and if I can use a third-party calling app to transmit video.

    Hi shi rudi  RealSense cameras have RealSense SDK software to develop your own applications with.  The SDK also has a powerful RealSense Viewer pre-made app for accessing and controlling the camera and its depth, infrared and RGB video streams.

     

    By 'calling app', do you mean video calling / chat applications such as Skype and Discord?  If so then yes, it is possible for the RGB video of RealSense cameras to be used for video calls.
