Ideal settings for leaf capturing with D405 and D415
Hello,
With these 2 cameras I´ve been trying to obtain point clouds of a plant and I want to be able to identify and distinguish the individual leaves of the plants. So far, the leaves are always interpolated in the point clouds. This is an example with the D405 camera:
I want for example look at the circled area, but there is interpolation in the viewer. As seen below.

I would like to know what are the ideal settings or the post-processing filters for the camera and/or if there is an existing preset that is indicated for leaves. Thank you!

Hi Estíbaliz Apellaniz Perez The surface of leaves can have a reflective quality on their surface that can make them difficult to capture depth from. Advice at the link below suggests placing an inexpensive filter product over the front of the camera to greatly reduce glare from reflections that may blind the camera.
The Medium Density preset provides a very good balance between depth accuracy and depth image quality, so I would recommend continuing to use that preset.
