  Question: D435i authenticity verification.  How can we verify whether the D435i we bought through a third-party seller is genuine?

   

  Hello gao gao  Genuine RealSense cameras have a sticker on the base of the camera with a unique serial number.  If the serial number on the sticker matches the serial number displayed when using the 'Info' button in the RealSense Viewer tool's options side-panel or when using the command rs-enumerate-devices -s then your camera is likely to be genuine.

   

  If the tripod is attached to the base of the camera then you will have to unscrew and remove the tripod to read the sticker.
