D415 Point cloud plane segmentation
Hello,
Recently I got a project which goal is: detect log end and get its diameter based on a point cloud information using RANSAC. I have deployed Framos D415 camera, but one issue appeared. Since camera is not parallel to the target (https://ibb.co/5Lr2gzm), point cloud has a cone shape (https://ibb.co/6r7zQJQ), which significantly complicates plane segmentation. I have tried the hidden point removal, but then outlier point amount is much higher than valid.
So my questions: What would be the best approach to get log end plane based on current camera position?
