Does L515 able to get depth of objects which are under water
Hello,
I want to use depth camera above the water to monitor some objects located under water.
Camera is about 5m from water surface. Objects are about -2m to 0m from water surface.
I need to get an average accuracy of 20mm.
I assume that the water reflaction will effect the accuracy. But I did not have any experimental data.
I want to know if you have advice for this case.

Thanks for reaching out to us.The performance from depth sensing underwater can vary due to the possible different lighting conditions, as well as conditions under the water's surface. I would suggest you have a look at the following project to get an idea about the depth sensing quality underwater:

A project between Engineers for Exploration (E4E) students with collaborators from Scripps Institute of Oceanography. Their webpage mentions that they are using D455 camera. The introductory video also mentions using D435 and L515 cameras for their project.
