realsense 400 series raspberry pi/nano sound output from depth
hi - - - ive managed to get a great little program which displays split screen rgb and depth . with the depth in fixed 'bands' and the min and max thresholds settable via two potentiometers .,,, great so far .. have this working on both raspberry pi and jetson nano ... what id like to do is create a sound output where by as something enters the specific colour/depth bands then either a voice reads out that depth value ot there is an increasing 'beep' .. (think aliens proximty meter) for sound output :) .. im assuming that i could say that if anything enters a specific depth then do something but i wonder if anybody has come across any examples .. really appreciate your lloking at this and or any replies .. many thanks . steve

Hi Steve A RealSense user created a beep-emitting sight accessibility application for RealSense D435 called Sonic Sight that performs similarly to your description.

That is useful. Steve, are you able to share your great little program?

I wish i could, I was paid to work it out so it's not my property :( .. the nano version is slightly faster and works with a 455 whereas the rasp pi only really liked working with the 435 .. i need to get it faster on as smaller computer as possible so im thinking of maybe a windows compute stick or something if anybodty has any advice or thoughts ? thanks
