usb port "over-current condition" when I plug camera in a linux machine
This is a D410 depth camera. It worked before, but today when I plug it in a ubuntu linux machine, it is not found by the system, and my usb keyboard is also down. When I pull it out, my keyboard is back.
Checking the system log and I found things like:
usb usb2-port1: over-current condition
usb usb2-port2: over-current condition
usb usb1-port1: over-current condition
usb usb1-port2: over-current condition
I tried the camera on another ubuntu linux, and it's generally the same. It influences other usb devices, maybe not keyboard. I also changed another usb cable (both usb3) , things didn't change. So I guess the main cause should be the D410 depth camera.
Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Yassine Rahrah Could you first try unplugging the micro-sized end of the USB cable from the D457 camera, reversing the connector's orientation and plugging it back into the camera, please (USB-C cables are two-way insertion at the micro-sized end). Does doing so resolve the error?
If reversing the micro-sized connector does not resolve the error, next please try starting the camera from a cold state and then touching the casing after a few minutes. If the casing is hot to the touch then this could indicate that there is a problem with the USB cable or the USB port that is causing overheating.
It is also important to use a high-quality USB cable with RealSense cameras. An inexpensive cable designed for charging or device sync will not be sufficient due to the high volume of data that RealSense cameras can transmit. The cable should be designed to handle data transfer.
