Hi Jerome Taylor  The RealSense 400 Series cameras, including the D455, use Type-C cables that have a normal-size (USB A) connector on one end that plugs into the computer / computing device, and a micro-size Type-C connector on the other end that plugs into the camera.  On the D455 the port for this connector is on the underside of the camera.

USB 3.1 Gen 1 is a typical format for cables used with 400 Series cameras.  Please bear in mind that if you plan to use your own choice of USB cable that is longer than 2 meters then using a high quality cable is important, as discussed in the link below.

Is the Type-C to Type-A cable supplied with the RealSense 400 Series Camera?

If so, how long is the supplied Type-C to Type-A cable cable?

Is the Type-C end of the cable reversible, meaning does the orientation matter when you plug the Type-C connector into the D455 camera? Note: Type-C to Type-C cables are constructed such that the connectors can be flipped (orientation reversed) w/o affecting operation. I am not sure how a Type-C to Type-A cable is constructed and if orientation matters on the Type-C side.

Is there a place where I can download the specification for the Type-C to Type-A cable?

A 1 meter Type-C USB cable (A to C) is supplied with the D455.  The cable is two-way insertion on the end that plugs into the camera.

Pages 84 and 85 of the current edition of the data sheet document for the 400 Series cameras may be helpful reading regarding USB cable and connector specifications.
