T265 frame didn't arrive within 5000

On the Raspberry PI 3b, the system is Ubuntu16.02. After T265 had been running for some time, frame didn't arrive within 5000 suddenly occurred, causing T265 to disconnect.

Hi JJ F Support is no longer provided for the RealSense T265 unfortunately as it is a retired camera model.

The only pre-existing case of the 'Frame didn't arrive within 5000' error occurring with a T265 on a Pi 3 was this one:

As your T265 runs for a time before disconnecting, it is possible that the program that you are running has a 'memory leak' that causes the Pi to run out of memory and freeze the application after a certain period of time. Pi 3 boards are not equipped with much memory capacity. You can create 'virtual memory' with a swapfile though by converting some of the space on your storage device.
