Realsense 435 for Depth measurement mounted vertically
I am new to Realsense, we are using 435 series camera for measuring Box dimension (length * width * height). We are using one camera. When camera is mounted to view two plane of the box it is working correctly but when we mount the camera vertically ie camera facing downwords, the variance is more. We have adjusted z-axis to normal as per documentation.
Can we we use 435 to measure dimensions mounted vertically? I am missing any other settings?

Hi Bhagwatok Yes, it is fine to mount RealSense cameras pointing vertically downwards and usually it should not have a negative effect on depth measurement accuracy. However, measuring a box on a floor from above is a scenario where inaccuracy can be introduced if the box is casting a shadow on the floor.
