Sync D455 array to Optitrack motion capture sensors
Is it possible to sync an array of D455 cameras to an array of Optitrack motion capture sensors for parallel capture? The Optitrack has a box that allows for external sync:

What would be involved in this, and would there be any limitations on the D455 cameras in terms of frame rate?

Hi Bschwartz You could try connecting your Optitrack box via wiring to the hardware sync pins on the D455 camera (hidden beneath a small removable cap on top of the camera). A small thin object such as a pin or straightened-out paper clip could be used to remove the cap.
Once your box is wired to the D455's sync pins, you could enable the Output Trigger Enabled option in the RealSense SDK or the RealSense Viewer tool to send a trigger pulse from the D455 to an external device (such as the Optitrack) once per frame.
