Vision Processor D4 with MIPI connection to host
I am using the Vision Processor D4 ASIC on a custom motherboard design, and I'm using the x4 MIPI host interface (shown in figures 8-2 and 8-5 in the D400 Series datasheet) rather than the USB 3.1 host interface. However, there is a note on Page 14 of the datasheet that says "MIPI is not currently supported. Please contact your Intel representative on MIPI enablement timelines." When is support for the MIPI host interface expected to be added?

Hi H Garat Intel does not have support for MIPI in the RealSense camera product range.

400 Series cameras also support USB 2.1 and can be interfaced with Ethernet networking too (accessing the camera over the network as a Network Device).

I already used realsense with a rapsberry pi 4 to test it. that was the feasability step.
Now I want to industrialize my product, and I'm looking to integrate D4 on a motherboard, but the major restriction is the USB3 interface.
D4 processor has Ethernet interface and I'm looking if it's possible to use this interface instead of USB (in the case of redesignof the D4 Board).

Whilst the RealSense hardware incorporates MIPI, access to it is not exposed to the end-user.
The subject of designing a custom D4 implementation has been discussed in detail in a past case at the link below, though there are complications to doing so that the case highlights. Please also bear in mind that the information in that case is now over 2 years old at the time of writing this and some of the advice may no longer be applicable.
