D435i depth module max exposure time when using auto exposure
Hi,
I wonder if it's possible to limit the maximum exposure time when using auto exposure.
The background idea is the same as https://support.intelrealsense.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360036210733-D435-control-RGB-module-speed
- want to reduce the fps to keep the data stream low
- want to make exposure time short enough to avoid motion blur
but for infra frames instead of RGB frames.
So, are there any settings to limit the maximum exposure time while auto exposure is on. Settings increasing the gain during auto exposure to reduce the exposure time even without limiting the exposure time can also help.
Thank you.

Hi Kota Mogami The subject of controlling the maximum exposure value of auto-exposure was discussed recently in the case linked to below.
https://github.com/IntelRealSense/realsense-ros/issues/1428
Within that discussion, I highlighted how a new Depth HDR feature was added in SDK 2.39.0 for per-frame exposure configuration for depth and IR.

Hi, MartyG.
Thank you for the link. And I found the request answering my question from your link.
https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/issues/3925
I'm sorry for the duplicate post.
Although my aim of setting maximum exposure time by increasing the gain to keep the image brightness while enabling autoexposure might not be directly done by HDR, I will check how I can use HDR feature for reducing motion blur.
Regards
