Which RealSense product is right for me?

Hi Michael Davey  If you require a stereo camera with depth sensing accuracy at long range, the RealSense D455 would be an excellent fit for those criteria.   It has 2x the accuracy over distance of the D435 model.  At 6 meters range it has the same depth accuracy as a D435 at 3 meters.

Hi Marty, that's really good to know.  Do you think multiple D455 would offer better results than the same number of L515 for my application?

I am not currently involved in support for the L515 model, so I recommend posting a separate case on this forum if you have a multiple-camera question about L515.

In regard to the 400 Series stereo depth cameras though, these cameras do not interfere with each other when placed in a multiple-camera arrangement (e.g 8 cameras arranged in a 360 degree circle and pointing inwards).  Overlapping the fields of view (FOV) of cameras can also improve depth data as there is redundancy in the data from the same area being observed by more than one camera.   The more cameras that you have in the arrangement, the less blind-spots there are.
